Warner Home Video has announced the date and released artwork for the action comedy, CHIPS starring Dax Shepard (who also directed), Michael Pena and Vincent D’Onofrio.
Warner Home Video has announced a June 27, 2017 release date for the action comedy, CHIPS. The Blu-ray will come with a 8DTS-HD Master Audio track (number of channels not specified in press release) while the DVD will have the usual Dolby Digital 5.1 audio mix. The Blu-ray will retail for $39.99 while the DVD will go for $28.98.
Synopsis: Jon Baker (Shepard) and Frank “Ponch” Poncherello (Peña) have just joined the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is a beaten-up former pro motorbiker trying to put his life and marriage back together. Poncherello is a cocky undercover Federal agent investigating a multi-million-dollarheist that may be an inside job—inside the CHP.
